Job Details
Individual will certify enrollment for VA educational benefits and advise student veterans in managing educational financing to achieve academic and career goals. Must provide excellent customer service to students, parents, faculty and staff regarding veteran's educational benefits and the financial aid process.
Minimum and Additional RequirementsThis position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training and experience. Preferred candidate will possess a bachelor's degree; or an associate degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma plus four (4) years of relevant experience. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Preferred QualificationsStudent Services, VA Once and Colleague database experience is desirable. Successful candidate must possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of and experience with federal guidelines and regulations for state and federal financial assistance and Veterans (GI Bill) educational benefits are essential
