Salary range: Starting salary is commensurate with the highest degree, teaching and professional experience, and equity within the Department. Percent time: 11%-100% per course, depending on teaching responsibilities. Application Window

Position description
The Department of Architecture at UC Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified lecturers to teach design studios should an opening arise. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies from semester to semester (fall, spring, and summer), depending upon the needs of the Architecture department.
General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and using Cal's electronic resources for course management.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree, or equivalent international degree at time of application.
Preferred qualifications
Professional Architecture Degree (either an M.Arch or a B.Arch from an Accredited Architecture program, or equivalent international degree) at time of application.
