Job Summary

Dalton State College of Arts and Sciences is seeking part-time faculty to teach courses in the following academic disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, Criminal Justice, Engineering, English, History, and Mathematics

and as od 8/18/2022 a part-time faculty in FILM PRODUCTION needed As Soon As Possible.

The position is a temporary, part-time position on a semester-by-semester agreement basis as needed. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, off-campus, or online courses.

Part-time pay is $1,800 per 3-credit hour course or $2,500 per course (for candidates with an earned doctorate).

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have an earned a Master’s degree (Doctorate preferred), in the field of expertise or a closely related field (preferably from an accredited institution); with at least 18 graduate credit hours in their field of expertise.

Applicants should have excellent oral and written communication skills and evidence of or interest, in teaching face-to-face, hybrid, live streaming and online classroom environment as well as willingness to accommodate a variety of learning styles and use applied learning approaches.
