St. Norbert College invites applications for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor in Political Science to begin in August 2023. The position requires a Ph.D. in Political Science at the time of appointment and a strong background in American politics and political institutions. Successful candidates will demonstrate dedication to excellent liberal arts teaching.

Responsibilities include teaching three classes per semester, while advising students and maintaining active research and service agendas. The successful candidate will regularly teach “Political Parties and Elections” and “Congress and the Presidency,” as well as an introductory “American Multicultural Politics” course and support the Political Science major and the College’s Core Curriculum program. An interest in teaching research methods and/or basic statistics for undergraduates will also be considered. Other course assignments will be based on the discipline’s (departmental) needs and the successful candidate’s expertise.
