The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $100,000 to $175,000. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.Education
- A terminal degree (PhD, MD or JD) in a relevant humanities or social sciences discipline.
- 5+ years of documented teaching experience in health humanities in a medical or health sciences environment.A record of quality scholarship and significant contributions to the discipline and accompanying pedagogy.
- Extensive experience and a track record of notable innovation in teaching health humanities.Experience in curriculum development and educational research.Experience in fundraising for arts and humanities programs and/or experience obtaining external funds for research on arts and humanities in health careExperience in teaching online.Experience in mentoring students in graduate and professional degree programs.Excellent record of quality scholarship and publications.
