- This position is responsible to the Director of the Center for Applied Christian Ethics to effectively assist with his/her responsibilities. This position is 24 hours per week/10 months per year.
- Handle day to day operations of the Center and decisions that can be handled without direct input.
- Maintain Center office including keeping mailing lists current, organization of office files and reconciliation of credit card purchases.
- Coordinate all activities of the Center including maintaining contact with various participants, arranging for housing and honoraria for event participants, coordinating logistics and costs incurred for events, and promotion of events with the Marketing Department.
- Edit and design Center materials for publication, including electronic Journal.
- Maintain the Center’s website, YouTube channel, and social media.
- Oversee Center student assistants.
- Computer skills – page layout, word processing, mailing list management
- Writing & editing skills – proofreading and business writing
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and ability to manage a department (needs knowledge of basic office skills)
