Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, or a directly related field from an accredited institutionSubstitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted on a year for year basis
- Experience managing scientific HPC environments including technologies such as Slurm, Sungrid, TensorFlow, Docker, and KubernetesExperience working with enterprise technology management tools such as Active DirectoryExperience managing virtual server environments leveraging technologies such as VMWare ESXiExperience with large enterprise network environments, including VLANs, DNS, NAT, firewalls, and basic routing protocolsExperience documenting and communicating complex designs using tools such as Microsoft VisioExperience providing technical support and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripherals in a complex enterprise environmentIndustry certifications a plus, such as:CompTIA: A+, Network+, Security+, Server+, Linux+Linux: RHCSA, LFCSCisco: CCT, CCNAVMWare: VCTA, VCP
