The scope of responsibilities includes student leadership development, program management, presentations, assessment, marketing, and website maintenance. The Program Coordinator administers quarterly series on topics such as transfer adjustment, single parent resources, leadership competencies, and public speaking skills. The incumbent serves as primary advisor of the Dean's Ambassadors Council, overseeing and utilizing 8-10 student ambassadors to plan and carry out school wide events and community service activities, provides quarterly support and guidance to ASUCI Social Science Senators, and facilitates cross-collaboration between school affiliated student organizations. The Social Sciences Academic Resource Center (SSARC) in the School of Social Sciences at UC Irvine is seeking a highly organized, resourceful and detail-oriented multi-tasker to provide high quality support and customer service to undergraduates, faculty and staff while assisting with the oversight of the daily operations of the SSARC. As a member of the School of Social Sciences, the incumbent is tasked with upholding and exemplifying excellence in the University's core competencies job mastery, goal accomplishment, enterprise contribution and innovation while representing the Dean, Associate Dean and the School of Social Sciences to members of the campus and the community at large. As the University continues to expand and shift culturally, it is imperative that the incumbent is a team player, supporting change management at the department level while aiding in the facilitation of effective change School-wide. Ability to maintain workflow with changing priorities and frequent interruptions and to organize and prioritize fluctuating workloads. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
