Social Work Program Assistant

The University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine, invites applications for the position of Social Work Program Assistant.  This temporary, part-time position’s primary purpose is to provide support to the Veterinary Social Work Program. Main areas of support include; responding to inquiries, aggregating data, updating tracking documents, developing drafts of documents, and assisting with social media.



Qualifications
Typical Responsibilities:

Educates new inquires on the program requirements for the Postgraduate Veterinary Social Work Certificate Program and Veterinary Human Support Certificate Program. Develops drafts of informative documents and videos to be distributed to potential certificate members. Assists supervisor in the creation of surveys to distribute to current certificates and graduates.

Updates purchase tracking spreadsheet monthly. Aggregates data and create reports to help maintain continuing education approval of course contents. Updates certificate records monthly. Writes newsletters and statements providing program updates to potential certificate members. Assists social work program coordinator with other certificate related tasks as they are assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s degree and 1 year of experience in administrative or clerical work.  Current UT College of Veterinary Medicine students are welcome to apply.
