Rapid Response Team Member

Job Duties:

As a member of Facilities Services Rapid Response Team for handling rapidly developing situations on campus. Works in close correlation with the Supervisor of Transfer & Hauling, a unit within the Facilities Services, the Rapid Response Department is responsible for all the moving of furniture and equipment, picking up surplus materials, and set-ups/ take downs for special events conducted on both the UT Knoxville and Agricultural campus. This position also will assist the Senior RRT Team Members including workload assignments, progressing and redirection, customer communication and correspondence as necessary.

Works with the supervisor ensuring the work is performed as scheduled and within compliance with applicable safety standards and operating policies.



Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Skills to include:  Very good technical/troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills. Experience in one or more “skilled craft” (i.e. Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.).  Excellent customer service skills, basic computer knowledge of the present work order system, email, and emailing correspondence.

Minimum/Required Qualifications:

Valid Tennessee Driver’s License

3 Years of experience in rapid response or transferring and hauling.
