The Psychology Department is seeking applications from highly qualified candidates seeking a one-year nonrenewable appointment to teach psychology courses in a face-to-face format in academic year 2022 – 2023. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • 36 faculty load hours during fall and spring semesters combined; most, if not all, of these courses will be taught face-to-face, as determined by the chair and/or dean
  • 6 office hours per week during the fall and spring semesters
  • Teaching and assessing student learning
  • Professional development
Required Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Psychology
  • Strong collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3 years community college teaching experience
  • Experience with pedagogy and classroom management techniques designed to maximize student success
  • Doctoral degree
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in Spanish

This is nonrenewable contract beginning 8/16/2022 and ending 5/31/2023. Salary is based on the rate of $1,027 per credit hour for the rank of Lecturer 2 and $1,058 per credit hour for the rank of Lecturer 3. Health benefits package provided.
