Description Are you someone that technology just doesn’t fail you? Have you ever been in a classroom where technology was failing the instructor/lesson & know how to get things back on track? Well then, can you help me & some of my teacher friends out?
We are looking for someone not afraid of helping in those technology “crisis situations” for others & is able to keep their calm, reassuring them everything will be alright. If you can mentally visualize logical & organized steps, are able to translate those to paper & then train someone from that, so they are able to function in a program they’ve never used before, you’re the whole package for us!

Job Summary:
The Coordinator, Instructional Technologies & Academic Support is responsible for providing support in the areas of assessment and instructional technologies.  Additionally, this position provides data support for the assessment process.


Quick Glance of Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provides Tier 1 LMS customer service & support for faculty/employees/students; second tier student support for LMS functions
  2. Monitors ticket system assigning assistance requests to the appropriate Instructional Technologies and Academic Support staff member, including LMS ticket metrics.
  3. Develops/maintains a library of course and instructional materials for the LMS.
  4. Coordinates the collection of course, department, division, program, and general education objective assessment information.
  5. Maintains the institutional repository of assessment data for easy access by key stake holders. (WIDS).
  6. Works with Institutional Research to produce reports related to outcome assessment and other department processes/activities.
  7. Facilitates, in collaboration with other members of the department, training on educational technology for all new faculty & meets the identified needs of departmental Educational Technology goals.
  8. Maintains schedules and tracks use of COLAB technology.
  9. Maintains the Instructional Technologies and Academic Support intranet page, training schedules & Innovation Café.
  10. Assists in tracking of department financials. 
  11. Facilitates initial quality review (7 day/RMF checks) for online/hybrid courses.
  12. Runs WIDS reports.

Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Needed:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • Knowledge of online LMS Systems and related software used in the online environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills to include Teams.
  • Experienced in the use and application of virtual technology and web conferencing preferred.
  • Virtual and augmented reality experience preferred.
  • Previous training experience in an educational setting.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Convey messages & trainings effectively
  • Exceptional customer service & interpersonal skills.


Pay Rate: $45,000 /yr
Schedule: M-F 8a-5p typically; South Campus
