Assistant Director of Residence Life & Deputy Title IX Coordinator

Thiel College seeks a diverse pool of motivated, driven, and enthusiastic applicants for our full-time 10-month Assistant Director of Residence Life & Deputy Title IX Coordinator position.

Residence Life Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Residence and serving as part of the department’s leadership team, the Assistant Director helps with the overall management and operations of the College’s residence life and campus housing program. General responsibilities include the supervision and development of graduate resident directors and undergraduate resident assistants, oversite of residential operations and facilities, implementation of developmental and inclusive programming for students, community development, crisis management, and student conduct. The assistant director also participates in an on-call duty rotation and represents the Department of Residence Life and Division of Student Life through participation in campus-wide programs and initiatives and by serving as a liaison to other campus departments (e.g., facilities, environmental services, and public safety).

Deputy Title IX Coordinator Responsibilities

Working in collaboration with the Title IX Coordinator, the Deputy Coordinator is responsible for helping to ensure compliance with Title IX. General responsibilities include case management, coordination of trainings and communications, student advocacy, policy development and implementation, and educational programming.


Master degree in higher education administration, leadership, or related field is preferred; Previous residence life and/or Title IX experience is desired; Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; A commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion is required.
