Data Coordinator

Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for a Data Coordinator position in the Office of Admissions and Merit Awards. Under the supervision of the Director of Admissions Operations and Technology, the Data Coordinator performs a variety of duties related to the processing of Admissions documents for incoming students.

Duties will include, but are not limited to: reviews and directs scanned documents from the Perceptive Content imaging system to the applicant file within the Slate CRM and Ellucian Colleague administrative system; prepares completed applications for counselor review; enters application source data, including application information, transcripts, and standardized test scores into the Slate CRM and/or Ellucian Colleague SIS to establish an application file; contacts applicants in an effort to correct and/or gather student data; solicits missing documents from applicants to complete file; responsible for the review and correction of all student data associated with the processing of daily audit reports; manages the daily import process of letter of recommendation and electronically prints letters in the Slate CRM and Perceptive Content imaging system to match with student application files; assists with the daily transcript import process for all third-party transcript sending services, electronically prints transcripts into imaging system to match with students application files; assists with application data and file downloads as well as standardized test score imports as needed; assists with the resolution of duplicate files and management of the duplicate file list; and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and work experience in collecting, scheduling, processing, and reporting information in a data processing environment is required. Experience with data processing and/or imaging and CRM or SIS systems in a college or university setting is preferred.

Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the University. May be required to work evenings and weekends during peak seasons and to meet the scheduling needs of the university.

Required Qualifications:

A high school diploma and work experience in collecting, scheduling, processing, and reporting information in a data processing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data processing and/or imaging and CRM or SIS systems in a college or university setting.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to operate an integrated student information system and general knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Ability to analyze application materials for file completion. Ability to perform detailed work and to discretely handle sensitive and confidential information.

This individual must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. May be required to work evenings and weekends during peak seasons and to meet the scheduling needs of the university.
