Job Summary This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the Department of Residential and Campus Life operations and Executive Vice President for Student Engagement and Success.

Responsibilities
    Provides administrative support for department budgeting functions. (30%)Assists with purchases, cash advances and other purchasing processes.Coordinates travel arrangements and reimbursements. Runs, process, and distributes departmental and student activities budgets.Maintains confidential budget and financial records.

    Provides administrative support for a variety of department and division operations. (60%)Ensure highest standard of customer services to students and community. Handle information inquiries; provides information and assistance; refers to appropriate personnel.Make appointments for supervisor(s).Manage department files, including personnel files.Use technology solutions for various department services – Banner, Org Sync (Canes Connect), Maxient, Star Rez, etc.Makes arraignments for meetings and conferences, including gather and compiling data and contacting participants.Coordinate meetings. Coordinates mass and other mail-outs.Prepares a variety of correspondence.Assists in reserving the meeting spaces managed by Division of SES.Hires and supervises student employess for office support.Prepares a variety of regular and special reports.Assists with management of office supplies equipment.Provide administrative support to other SES directors and Exec. Vice President for Student Engagement and Success as needed.

Performs a variety of related duties. (10%)

Required Qualifications
    Associates degree required.More than two years of related experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
    Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.Knowledge of university and departmental policies and procedures.Knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation and arithmetic.Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.Skill in prioritizing and organizing work.Skill in the management of files and records.Skill in the use of such office equipment as a computer, scanner, fax machine, and copier.Skill in oral and written communication.
