Job Description:

This is a temporary contract position and manages data analytic responsibilities including finance, fiscal, grants, and other clinical services essential to the operation of the Department of Urology. Reports to the Director, Health Care Administration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Prepares financial reports for managerial purposes through PeopleSoft, Query Studios, Enterprise Analytics, Business Objects, and other sources. Conducts appropriate account analysis to ensure that the assets, revenues and expenditures are accurately recorded and appropriately stated.

Monitor cash balance reports to assure that fund balances of various funds are spent in accordance with the budget and any existent restriction.

Assist with the compilation of data and preparation of budget projection; monitor and verify expenditures; ensure compliance with University and sponsoring agency policies and procedures and prepare financial and administrative reports for submission to sponsoring agencies.

Compile data for Annual and Ad-Hoc Reports, including research, presentations, publications and service and submit in appropriate form.

Expected Salary:

$30-$35 per hour, commensurate with qualifications.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of and skill in PeopleSoft and OneStream and Hyperion budget systems.

Background in the clinical environment as it relates to billing, collections, projections, and budget management. Background in education, research, and foundation funds management.

UF experience in Payroll/Personnel, Finance/Accounting, Travel/P-Card, AHC-Contracting, or Faculty Group Practice.
