The Division of Enrollment Management is currently seeking full time OPS employees in Enrollment Services (OneStop). The OneStop provides centralized and integrated student-centric enrollment services through virtual, self-service, and in-person modalities to simplify and enhance access to UF’s comprehensive suite of enrollment services to support student success throughout the entire enrollment lifecycle. Applicants must be comfortable working in a high-volume call center as well as in person.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: providing enrollment services information to prospective and current students and parents covering all aspects of the enrollment and retention process at UF. This includes working with students extensively at our public information lobby location, in the call center by telephone, and through email correspondence. Applicants should possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn about all aspects of the enrollment services process, as strong customer service is a fundamental component of this position.
Normal business hours for OneStop staff is Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Provides cross-functional enrollment services in the areas of admissions, registration, records, financial aid, scholarships, and billing to current and prospective students by telephone, in person, by email, and through Gator360, the constituent relationship management system (CRM). Serves as frontline for routine enrollment service requests. This is a high-volume fast paced area with significant amount of time on the phone and the case management system. Works with students, and core offices when appropriate, to resolve complex enrollment issues. Knowledge of and ability to communicate the university’s academic programs and systems as well as complex federal, state, and university rules, regulations, and procedures are essential for the performance of these functions.
Manages cases in Gator360 ensuring that students’ needs, both routine and complex are addressed and resolved. Works with multiple student records systems to research, evaluate, refer, and appropriately resolve issues that come to the OneStop. Interprets enrollment policies and procedures and communicates as appropriate with constituents across the campus community.
Provides tier two support for resolving complex enrollment issues referred by the student assistants. Assists with training and mentorship of the student assistants.
Participants in on-going training to remain current on enrollment management functions including process improvements, financial aid regulations, federal, state, university and division policies and procedures.
$14 per hour; commensurate with education and experience
Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional relationships when working with sensitive and challenging information and situations. Multicultural competencies – demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate and interpret information.
Strong user automated-systems skills, including word-processing, electronic mail, and multi-line telephone and administrative computing systems.
