UCLA School of Dentistry invites outstanding candidates for a full-time faculty position at the level of Health Sciences Associate Clinical Professor or Health Sciences Clinical Professor -(non-tenure track-JPF07521), or Associate Professor or Professor (tenure track-JPF07523 in the Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This position is available immediately and the search will remain open until the position has been filled.

The successful candidate will serve as Program Director of the CODA-Accredited, dual-degree OMS Residency Program. Candidates will have differentiated expertise, an exemplary record of patient care, and be board certified. A MD degree and advanced fellowship training is preferred. Applicants are expected to teach residents and dental students; participate in University service, faculty meetings, Grand Rounds and M&M conferences; contribute to quality assurance programs and continuing education; and advance the mission of the section and the dental school. Multiple opportunities exist to participate in research/scholarship activities consistent with their professional goals and program needs.

Applicant must possess: (1) DDS or DMD or an equivalent degree; (2) Certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; and (3) a valid California dental or medical license (or be eligible for licensure in California). Candidates seeking the tenure track position should demonstrate a history of scholarly productivity including extramurally funded research.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience. An opportunity for part-time intramural or extramural practice will be available.
