Job Summary Provide professional level support of student employment functions, to include the initiation and review of recruiting and hiring documentation, serving as an information resource on employment processes, and participating in new student employee onboarding activities. This position will interact on a regular basis with: human resources management and staff, hiring department staff, and student applicants and employees. This position typically will advise and counsel: unit management, unit staff, and student employees. This position will supervise: NAResponsibilities <html><b><u>Job Duty 1 - </u></b>
Generate, process, and/or verify employment-related documentation including offer letters, hiring packages, schedules, and reports

<html><b><u>Job Duty 9 - </u></b>
Coordinate group or unit purchases of supplies and materials, as needed

<html><b><u>Job Duty 10 - </u></b>
Perform other duties as assigned

<html><b><u>Job Duty 2 - </u></b>
Coordinate and deliver activities associated with employee on-boarding and orientation

<html><b><u>Job Duty 3 - </u></b>
Assist in review and coordination of employment requisitions including posting to applicant tracking system and other sourcing channels

Respond to inquiries regarding hiring and employment policies and procedures, making referrals when appropriate

<html><b><u>Job Duty 5 - </u></b>
Assist in recruitment efforts and candidate selection process

<html><b><u>Job Duty 6 - </u></b>
Gather and coordinate dissemination of information regarding new or revised hiring related policies and procedures within the unit; develop and maintain knowledge of recruiting and hiring operations, processes, and procedures

<html><b><u>Job Duty 7 - </u></b>
Participate in ad hoc administrative-related data gathering, report input, etc.

<html><b><u>Job Duty 8 - </u></b>
Process employee record maintenance and transactions including salary, job, termination, and other related changesRequired Qualifications <U><B>Educational Requirements</U></B>
High School Diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

<U><B>Other Required Qualifications</U></B>
Must be able to perform light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects including their person.

<U><B>Required Experience</U></B>
Two to three years of job related experiencePreferred Qualifications <U><B>Preferred Educational Qualifications</U></B>
Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree or two years college course workKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities <U><B>SKILLS</B></U>
Ability to be customer service focused and detail-oriented, excellent communication skills with diverse populations in a multi-format setting, ability to multi-task with multiple deadlines, and basic knowledge of office related computer applicationsOther Information This is not a supervisory position.
