Responsible for University-wide testing services needs and providing academic support to students. The Coordinator communicates in a timely, professional fashion with faculty and students to ensure testing services protocol are followed and students’ needs are met. This position manages confidential student information and testing materials. The Coordinator also provides support to offices within the Academic Life and Student Transitions unit. 1. Responsible for the management and operation of Lehigh’s Testing Services
*Oversees all day-to-day operations of Testing Services
*Develops and updates services, policies and procedures in response to changing demands
*Schedules and publicizes services, communicates program policies and procedures to campus and community and maintains integrity of testing environment
*Processes testing requests forms and schedules exams in accordance with Testing Services policies; proctors exams at scheduled times
*Identifies and prepares for any applicable accommodations, testing needs and assistive technology for each student
*Works with Disability Support Services, academic departments and faculty to ensure students’ needs are met
*Educates students, faculty and families about the Testing Services policies and protocol
*Maintains confidentiality and compliance with FERPA
*Creates end of semester reports to track Testing Services usage
*Hires, trains and schedules graduate student proctors, as needed

2. Provide support to the broader Academic Life and Student Transitions and Dean of Students Office functions
*Supports Center for Academic Success programs to include peer tutoring, academic coaching and study groups
*Serves as a general support resource for students, faculty and larger Lehigh community

The duties of this position may allow the employee to work partially remote as deemed appropriate by the supervisor

This is a 12 month position, working 20 hours per week

Occasional Evenings and Weekends as needed

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience; Associate’s Degree in Psychology or Education preferred

One to three years related work experience

Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal skills and a high level of customer service required

Ability to build, foster and maintain positive professional relationships

Excellent organizational skills, time management and sound judgment

Adept use of digital communication preferred

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and a high degree of initiative for bringing tasks to completion

Solid analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills

Excellent computer skills with experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software

Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
