The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Binghamton University (State University of New York at Binghamton) invites applications for one Lecturer position. This position will start effective fall semester of 2022. Initial appointment is for three years with the possibility of renewal.
The successful candidate should have a strong record of excellence in teaching lower level college statistics courses and an established record of statistical consulting. The principal duties of this position are teaching one undergraduate statistics course per semester and running the Statistical Consulting Services. Applications from underrepresented groups and minorities are strongly encouraged.
The minimal qualifications for this position are a PhD degree in Statistics or Biostatistics, at least three years of teaching undergraduate statistics courses, and at least three years of statistical consulting work.
