Responsibilities include but not limited to: typing correspondence, reports, grant related requisitions and materials, maintaining files and accounts, and assisting with other departmental matters when required. Processes mass mailings. Must be able to relate well to students including those with disabilities. Assisting with the marketing and recruitment efforts of the Rehabilitation Counseling program. Assisting in program development related activities (e.g. maintaining social media sites, etc.) Creating new and managing existing databases related to the program (e.g. professional advisory board, internship, etc.) Updating and managing the Rehabilitation Counseling Resource Center. Fielding questions from prospective students. Participating in regular Rehabilitation Counseling program meetings. Assisting in the preparation of grant applications. Assisting in establishing internship/practicum contracts. Scheduling faculty appointments. Ordering supplies and books. May perform other duties not specifically identified above but which require the same degree of skills normally included within the above job title.

Please note that this position is grant funded and subject to the continuing availability of grant funds

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12pm - 4pm. May be asked to adjust work hours in accordance with scheduled activities in the department.

Qualifications:Proficiency in MS Office with the ability to learn other programs such as Blackboard. Has strong organizational and writing skills.
