The UCLA Department of Music invites applications for a part-time lecturer position in opera/vocal coaching. Salary commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience; percentage of appointment commensurate with studio size and opera production needs.

Responsibilities will include individual and ensemble coaching of graduate and undergraduate students. Candidates should have experience coaching (at minimum) English, German, Italian, and French languages and diction, with expertise and knowledge of the operatic repertoire of all eras. Extensive experience in preparing and performing new works is required. Additionally, applicants should have an established regional, national, and/or international reputation as a coach and rehearsal pianist.
