The Department of Art at Vassar College invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in the History of East Asian Art and Architecture in fall, 2022.

Position Description
The rank will be Adjunct Instructor, and the teaching load will be .5 unit. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver 6 lectures on the art and architecture of East Asia from antiquity through c. 1600 CE, in the team-taught survey course Art 105, Introduction to the History of Art and Architecture.

How to Apply
The successful candidate should have the Ph.D. or be ABD at the time of appointment. We seek scholars who can teach dynamically in an undergraduate liberal arts setting. Teaching experience is preferred.
