Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit:

The Center for Youth, Family, and Community Partnerships (CYFCP) at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro invites applications for the position of Compliance and Quality Improvement Specialist. The mission of the Center for Youth, Family, and Community Partnerships is to foster community partnerships that bridge research, practice, and policy to advance the health and wellbeing of individuals and families across the lifespan.

Position Summary:

The Compliance and Quality Improvement Specialist will enhance and support The Training Program by maintaining quality assurance and improvement measures. This includes the areas of program support, policy and procedure management, and data reporting and analysis. This position may support teleworking and requires regular travel statewide and to UNCG.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Master’s degree and at least three years of relevant professional experience or bachelor’s degree and at least six years of relevant professional experience· Knowledge of quality improvement and risk management principles and procedures.· Professional experience in at least three of the following five areas (Note: Applicants should detail relevant experience in their cover letter)1. Experience reviewing, implementing, and supporting quality improvement and risk management programs and plans.2. Experience developing and providing technical assistance and training3. Experience collecting, interpreting, and presenting data4. Ability to independently formulate solutions and recommendations based on analyses /evaluations, information, and data5. Experiencing using data to problem-solve and develop a continuous quality improvement process across systems· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills· Proficiency in MS Office· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP)· Knowledge of relevant laws, legal codes, procedures, and other relevant regulatory standards· Experience in the direct provision of oversight of children’s mental health services· Ability to work cooperatively by demonstrating professional, ethical and respectful behavior

Guide Implementation Specialists with accessing and using data systems for new HFW teams. Support Implementation Specialists with monitoring Corrective Action Plans. Participate and interpret in Formal Review of Policies, Protocols, and Procedures. Support with updating audit tools to include quality performance measures. Develop and maintain compliance grids. Coordinate National Certification and recertification with Implementation Specialist.

Develop formal contracts and memorandums with agency providers, LME/MCO, and other stakeholders. Check DHHS, DCS, and DPS websites for policies posted for review. Submit new contracts and agreements to DHHS for review. Support with developing and ensuring policies and procedures meet cultural and linguistic best practices.

Data Analysis and Report Preparation

Essential Tasks:

Develop reports for DHHS and LME/MCOs to include individualized Chart Form/iDashboard team and agency analyses, as well as support the submission of quarterly and annual reports. Identify trends and meet with necessary stakeholders to address concerns.
