Responsibilities Responsible for performing a wide variety of standard administrative and office support duties including but not limited to:
Acts as front desk receptionist, greeting and directing visitors, answering the phone, and similar.Preparation of a variety of materials including meeting notes, routine correspondence, basic reports, and forms.Maintaining filing systems, basic departmental databases, spreadsheets, calendars, and conference room schedules.Managing room reservations, calendar invitations, assisting with special events/meeting preparation.Requesting travel authorizations.Assisting with entering proposals in RAMP.Assisting with onboarding new employees by tracking status of pending actions and following up as needed.Requesting and tracking ITS tickets, and tracking other pending actions and following up as needed.
Work is performed under routine supervision using established procedures and guidelines.Qualifications
High school diploma/equivalency and two years of experience; or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to two years.
Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and etiquette.Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word or equivalent software.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.Ability to maintain accurate records and retrieve files from active or archive sources. Basic filing practices to include numeric and alphabetic systems.Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Preferred Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.University Information

Anticipated Salary Range
$12-$16 per hour
This is an OPS/temporary Job.
20-30 hours per week.
Criminal Background Check
