Responsibilities Responsible for performing administrative professional support services within the College of Motion Picture Arts. Works with the dean's office, faculty, and students to coordinate travel, track student film production budgets, and other administrative duties.
Researches, books, confirms, and arranges payment for all aspects of travel (airfare, lodging, car rental, conference fees, etc.) for faculty and student productions. Serves as travel rep for CMPA by processing all forms for travel including travel authorizations, expense reports, and reimbursements. Assists as needed with reimbursement processes for student production expenses, to include keying payment request forms for student prepaid card advances. Assists with monitoring student film production expenditures Submits student production agreements for student films Prepares and submits department purchase orders/requisitions, receives items in OMNI. Provides administrative assistance to the Dean's Office for purchases on and donations from/to the FSU Foundation funds including disbursement requests, honorariums, and gift and non-gift transmittals as needed. Tasks include answering phones, greeting guests, and directing guests to the proper faculty or staff member.
High School diploma or equivalency and three years of experience; or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to three years.
