Minimum Qualifications:

Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of a Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of related experience or (5) years related management experience.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for independently managing high level day-to-day operations of the ticket office.This position provides supervisory, project, and executive support to the UGA Athletics Ticket Office as well as oversees and coordinates the day-to-day activities. An employee assigned to this position may serve as the principle point for execution and management of all facets of Women’s Basketball ticketing. Serve as administrative contact and liaison with internal and external constituencies and may provide specialist support services in the areas of budget management, public and community relations, general business administration, and/or student, donor, and faculty/staff affairs.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:

Knowledge of ticket office functions such as season ticket renewal and distribution process for all ticketed sports. Excellent computer skills including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work cooperatively. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Independent thinker, self-motivated, and accustomed to high volume, fast-paced, detail-oriented work environment.

Physical Demands:

Stand; walk; use hands and reach with arms. Sit and talk or hear. Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Close and distance vision, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but escalates to high during athletic competitions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Women’s Basketball Ticket Management:

  • Manages all facets of ticket operations for Women’s Basketball.
  • Responds to and/or routes all incoming correspondence.
  • Coordinate’s pricing decisions with sport supervisors, TGBC, marketing department, and business office.
  • Works directly with the business office on the budget for ticket sales.
  • Works directly with TGBC and marketing on sales campaign/timeline for season tickets, single game tickets, and group tickets.
  • Responsible for allocation of season tickets and post season events.
  • Supervise the day of game box office.
  • Ensures communication relative to all ticket information is clearly communicated and promoted to customers.

Gymnastics Ticket Management

  • Manages all facets of ticket operations for Gymnastics.
  • Coordinates pricing decisions with sports supervisors, marketing department, sales & service manager, and business office.
  • Works directly with the business office on the budget for ticket sales.
  • Works directly with marketing and sales manager on sales campaign/timeline for season tickets, single-game tickets, and group tickets.
  • Responsible for allocation of season tickets and post-season events.
  • Supervise the day of game box office.
  • Ensures communication relative to all ticket information is clearly communicated and promoted to customers.
  • Oversee season setup, ticket applications and allocation, and event preparation for Gymnastics and other sports as needed. Includes postseason events which will require travel.

  • Administer Athletic Staff and Athletic Board ticketing including communications, account management, allocations, and fulfillment.
  • Generate and provide staff usage reporting to business office.

Ticket Reporting/Financials:

  • Work directly with associate director of ticket operations and business office on daily/monthly settlements, as well as monthly tax reports.
  • Daily batch report management.
  • Focus on keeping all ticket accounts balanced and run reports of any payment dues.
  • Will create reports based off those balance dues and send directly to sales & service to have those accounts called to be paid off.

  • Monitor athletic staff account accuracy. Update according to hired, separated, and retired personnel status.
  • Independently monitor and facilitate ticket office supply and equipment needs.
