Job Description:

We seek outstanding investigators in the following areas:

1) Neurogenetics (human, mouse);

2) Therapeutic development with an emphasis on genetic, computational, or pathophysiological disease models,

3) Mammalian and/or human genetics with an emphasis on developmental disorders or human disease.

The Department has active research programs in human, mouse, and Drosophila genetics, virology, together with expertise in gene discovery, RNA biochemistry, structural biology, protein biochemistry, genome editing and computational biology. Facilities are available for mouse genetics, molecular biology, bioinformatics, genomics and proteomics. In addition to having a primary academic appointment in the Department, the candidate will have an opportunity to be an active member of the Center for NeuroGenetics.

Expected Salary:

$110,000 - $120,000 annually and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Ph.D. degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Cutting edge research in the genetics of human disease including the genetics of microsatellite repeats
