Job Description:

Our well-established virology group is supported by the UF Emerging Pathogens Institute, UF Center for Inflammation & Mucosal Immunology, UF Health Cancer Center, highly ranked Colleges of Veterinary Medicine and Dentistry, CDC Southeastern Center of Excellence in Vector Borne Diseases, and NIH Southeast Center for Integrated Metabolomics. UF is also developing a world-class artificial intelligence (AI) research infrastructure to support investigators.

This is critical for the development of expertise in key areas of molecular virology research and for the research and teaching missions of the Department of Molecular Genetics & Microbiology

Expected Salary:

$110,000 - $120,000 annually; commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Ph.D. degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and 3+ years of postdoctoral experience; a demonstrated ability to conduct original, innovative virology research
