The UND department of Radiology located in Fargo, ND has a full-time Administrative Assistant position opening.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support to Department Chair - Radiology
  • Coordinate Radiology Acting Internship and Elective rotations for medical students
  • Neurology Clerkship and Acting Internship Coordinator – Southeast Campus ONLY
    • Create and distribute rotation site assignments/schedules to preceptors and students
    • Coordinate with Sanford Neurology staff for preceptor schedule
    • Enter student schedules into Leo for Southeast Campus students
    • Assign evaluations for each student in Leo
    • Order and proctor NBME subject exam; notify students of NBME exam results
    • Track evaluations and remind preceptors to complete pending evaluations
    • Enter grade data in Leo
    • Attend Neurology Quarterly Meetings
  • Neurology Acting Internship
    • Create and distribute rotation site assignments/schedule to preceptors and students
    • Coordinate with Sanford neurology staff for preceptor schedule and Grand Rounds presentations
  • Under the direction of the Radiology Department Chair, coordinate the department’s academic and clinical faculty tenure, promotion, assignment, and evaluation processes
  • Serve as Records Coordinator for the department of Radiology
Required Competencies
  • Excellent interpersonal and written skills
  • Proficiency with current office equipment to include computers, video conferencing equipment, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to self – motivate
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail
  • Ability to work closely with professional and student population in a courteous, helpful manner
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and ongoing updates to technology
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Minimum Requirements
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years directly related experience
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Successful completion of criminal history records check

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in university, hospital or clinic setting
  • Experience with Jaegger
Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification

$38,000 - 43,000 / year; non-exempt; benefited; full-time

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
