Duties:

Under the general direction of the Dean of Academic Development and Outreach the Employee Training and Development Manager is responsible for assisting with the organizational development and technology training functions for the college, in collaboration with the CTL staff and other college employees as appropriate.

The Employee Training and Development Manager is dedicated to the learning college concepts by developing programs and facilitating activities that promote student success and lifelong learning.

Education/Experience:

Master’s degree required, major concentration in organizational development, training, or related field; three to five years’ experience in a training, teaching and/or development function required with a minimum of one-year training experience at the post-secondary level required.

Qualifications:

This position requires excellent written, verbal, organizational, and computer skills; demonstrated experience with succession planning; developing and delivering organizational and technology training; proficiency using a variety of technologies commonly used for productivity and in the learning environment; experience with compiling data and analyzing past and current year technology needs and other training requirements to justify funding necessary for training activities; demonstrated experience with creating instructional material both paper and computer based using industry standard authoring tools; strong proficiency with productivity software (such as MS office), Internet based tolls (including e-mail), graphics software, multimedia creating/editing tools and business system software; ability to plan, implement and evaluate projects; ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to handle confidential material and maintain confidence; experience in a community college environment preferred; plus other duties as assigned.

Monday – Friday
8:00 am to 5:15 pm
Some evening hours required.

Minimum Starting Rate:

$67,340+
