This position is for the Federal SPF-PFS Coordinator. This person is responsible for coordination of community-driven efforts to advance substance abuse prevention specifically focused on underage drinking to meet the goals and objectives of the Strategic Prevention Framework-Partnerships for Success (SPF-PFS) Project. Will directly supervise the School of Social Work Prevention Practicum students
Job Location
Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND:
- 48 months in accounting, business, program management, or related experience.
- Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Able to effectively evaluate projects/programs and produce comprehensive reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel skills with ability to build and manipulate spreadsheets
- Must be able to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Certified Prevention Specialist license within 18 months of employment
- Sits for prolonged periods. Communicate effectively. Manual dexterity.
- Standard office environment.
- Master's degree in Social Work with two years experience to supervise students in practicum
- Ability to serve as the Field Instructor for the Social Work Prevention Practicum program
- 18-36 months experience in public health, social work or social services
- Experience working with community coalitions
- Knowledge of substance use prevention principles and frameworks
