Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science

Position Summary

The Political Science Program at Eastern University invites applications for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science for the 2022-2023 academic year. The successful candidate will be prepared to join our St. David’s campus to teach introductory courses in International Relations and Comparative Government, as well as upper-level elective courses in Political Science as needed. The position begins in late August 2022, and the teaching load is four courses per semester (Fall & Spring). Ideally, applicants should have their Ph.D. in Political Science by the position start date, but ABD candidates may be considered. The position may renew for another year pending the 2022-2023 search for an Assistant Professor of Political Science. The successful candidate for the Visiting position is welcome to apply for the Assistant position once that search has formally begun.
