Project Coordinator DASH ERP Program, UT System (Limited Duration Appointment)
MR 07

This position exists as an assistant to the ERP project manager in the Department of Technology Solutions. This position works closely with project managers to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets and time frames for projects. The project coordinator perform various duties such as scheduling and risk management.  This will be a limited duration position for 2.5 years.

• Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary
• Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
• Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information
• Monitor current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
• Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
• Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails
• Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
• Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
• Ensure all parts of an assigned project are processed, organized, and progressing according to predetermined timelines and deliverable dates
• Assist in assigning project tasks to relevant parties and check in for status updates
• Develop and maintain project performance databases that track overall progress and the accomplishment of specific milestones
• Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
• Act as a point of communication between company teams and external resources
• Deepen partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers
• Other duties as assigned



Qualifications
Requirements
Education:  High school diploma or GED

Experience:  2+ years project management support experience. (CAPM/PMP or other related certification may be used in lieu of experience.)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilites:
Hands-on experience with supporting a project manager or managing projects alone.
Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Utmost attention to detail.

Preferred
Education:  Bachelor's Degree
CAPM/PMP or other related certification
