Vice President of Business Affairs/CFO

Colby Community College (CCC) is currently accepting applications for the Vice President of Business Affairs/CFO to serve as the school's chief financial officer responsible for the college's business services and operations. The candidate should be passionate, enthusiastic, and driven to serve students and uphold the College's Mission. The position is being vacated due to the former Vice President of Business Affairs accepting a president's position at another college. At Colby Community College, the Vice President of Business Affairs is a member of the College's senior leadership team, reporting directly to the President. The successful candidate will direct, monitor, and oversee all college financial operations, including administration, planning, and communications. Primary among these responsibilities is the maintenance of sound fiscal policy, effective financial controls, and institutional budgeting.  In addition to ascertaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, the Vice President of Business Affairs is responsible for all budgetary and financial procedures for the College, including payroll, purchasing, inventory, investments, and insurance.  Integrity, innovative thinking, a sense of humor, understanding of the rural community college, and working as a team are necessary. The selected individual must be an active part of not only the College but also the community.
