Position Summary:

The Florida Atlantic University Department of English is seeking five full-time Instructors to teach courses in composition and literature contingent upon funding. Special consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in professional writing and online writing instruction. These are non-tenure earning appointments on nine-month renewable contracts. Teaching load is 4/4.Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are core values of the Department of English. Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. from an accredited institution in English or Related Field, or MFA in Creative Writing

Experience teaching College Composition courses

Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds

Demonstrated skill in understanding cultural differences

Passionate about working in an organization that values and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism
