- Expand Awareness and Enrich the Center’s Outreach
- Build and maintain close working relationships with the center’s key internal and external constituent stakeholders, ensuring regular and timely communication, facilitation of initiatives and follow-up. Interact regularly with the Community Advisory Board (CAB) (see below for specifics), Medicine Cabinet, Senior Faculty, Center Scientists, University Leadership and other affiliated internal CU and external constituencies.With regards to the CAB in particularBe the center’s chief liaison to the CABStaff the CAB with regards to governance, major gifts and stewardshipAid the CAB with identifying, stewarding and onboarding new CAB members
- In conjunction with University Advancement, strategize and develop individual, annual, multi-year, and legacy fundraising plans focusing on both current and prospective donors.Identify, initiate, and deliver on fundraising opportunities relating to individuals, foundations, and corporations in partnership with University Advancement.Function as one of the center’s primary strategizers around fundraising.Build and maintain shared, effective relationships with donors at all levels.Oversee the development and execution of stewardship plans and tactics.
- Manage, develop and evaluate center staff for the effective delivery of daily operations. Lead the center’s financial planning, budgeting, reporting and analysis efforts and the development of a diversified and sustainable financial model. Perform financial forecasting to address the center’s needs.Participate actively in developing strategic and tactical plans and programs to support the achievement of the center’s strategic goals and objectives, i.e., Translation to Impact/scholar program, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in women’s health research and partnerships with UC Health and CU Innovations.Develop, supervise and execute high-quality, mission-critical programs and events. Community programs that include Annual Community Luncheon, Let’s Talk lecture series and girls career day and other corporate and community events. Research-related programs that include academic and career development training of early-career faculty, the National Conference, Early-Career Faculty Research Development Awards, Scholar Awards, Translation to Impact and Women’s Health Symposium. - Instructor: $170,000 – $200,000

Qualifications

- A master’s degree (or equivalent experience on a year for year basis) in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years of experience in organizational leadershipMinimum of 3 years of experience with financial planning and analysisMinimum of 3 years of experience with program and event design and execution.
- A master’s degree (or equivalent experience on a year for year basis) in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years of experience in organizational leadershipMinimum of 5 years of experience with financial planning and analysisMinimum of 5 years of experience with program and event design and execution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in non-profit management and organizational development
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in brand development, marketing and communications
