Position Overview

Butler University Sports Medicine seeks an Assistant Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive health care for student-athletes in its intercollegiate athletic programs. This is a full-time, 12 month position responsible to adhere to the university mission and ensure that policies and procedures are followed in the sports medicine center.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specific healthcare management for Women's Soccer.
  • Provide daily Butler University Sports Medicine Center coverage for all sports.
  • Collaborate with strength coaches, dietitians, and team physicians.
  • Administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required, Athletic Training related field, preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of full-time collegiate athletic training experience required
  • Current NATABOC certification and licensed in the State of Indiana required
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required
  • Desired candidate will have outstanding verbal communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively with student athletes, coaches, administrators and staff
