Faculty members provide general orthopaedic care and are fellowship trained to provide expertise in total joint arthroplasty, hand and upper extremity surgery, spine surgery, pediatric orthopaedics, orthopaedic trauma, sports medicine and podiatry.Job Information The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery seeks a full-time faculty member to join our Podiatry Service at the assistant professor level. Applicants must be board certified/eligible and fellowship trained. Duties will include clinical care of patients, didactic and clinical training of residents, medical students, and fellows. The successful candidatemay be expected to be productive in clinical research and to play a pivotal role in growth of the service as they fulfill the academic and clinical missions of Augusta University. Coupled to these are opportunities in administrative and leadership positions. Salary will be commensurate with experience.Minimum Requirements The minimum requirements include Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and lLicense to practice as a DPM in Georgia and South Carolina.
