Communications & External Affairs Temporary Support

The University of Tennessee Knoxville, College of Nursing is accepting applications for a Communications and External Affairs temporary position. This position executes strategies to elevate the College of Nursing as a premier leader in nursing education through brand/message management, social media, and marketing activities. This position is also responsible for implementing and managing the departments channels of communication, including the development and maintenance of the department's web presence. This position implements communications policies and strategies and works collaboratively with the Dean, Assistant and Associate Deans and Directors to establish and follow appropriate departmental and University communications practices. Additionally, this position supports special event staff, and acts as the departments public relations and branding standards liaison.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Minimum of two year's communications and/or community relations experience. One or more years in communications/social media.
