Post-Doctoral Research Associate - Institute for a Secure and Sustainable Environment Regular, Full-time, Pay Grade 00The Institute for a Secure and Sustainable Environment invites applications for one full-time Post-Doctoral Research position to collaborate with our team to examine sustainability under climate changes. Candidates should have primary interest and background in data science, global change modeling, optimization, simulation, climate science or related discipline. The Post-Doctoral Researcher will work within a dynamic research team, will be exposed to interdisciplinary research topics and will be expected to present yearly in national and international conferences. The position is available to start by October 1, 2022. The Post-Doctoral Researcher will report to Dr. Mingzhou Jin. This is a twelve-month appointment, renewable annually for up to two years based on performance and funds availability. The compensation package includes a competitive salary, health benefits, career mentoring, and any required travel.

- A PhD in data science, industrial engineering, management science, climate science or related disciplinePublication recordProgramming experience is preferable
- Have a high level of motivation, enthusiasm to learn, and the ability to work in a team.Have experience in numerical modelingPublish in peer-reviewed journals on an annual basis
