Job Summary/Basic Function:
This temporary position will assist the Center for Workforce with preparations for the renovation project.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Under direct supervision, move furniture, equipment, pipe, auction items, materials for instructional purposes, etc.
- Review work orders and coordinate work with faculty, staff, and administrators.
- Move furniture, cabinets, boxes, and other items as needed.
Additional duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- When assigned, assist in electrical, plumbing, and other installation, moving equipment, and/or materials, etc.
- When assigned, assist with picking up trash, cleaning windows, pressure washing, etc.
- Use and care for maintenance tools and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Benefits do not accrue with this part-time position. The work schedule is not to exceed 19.5 hours/week. This is a security-sensitive position.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of related work experience (cumulative)
- Must understand and abide by safety regulations and procedures
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, and/or carry loads of fifty (50) pounds or more on a frequent basis
- Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist, walk, climb, grasp, and/or squeeze while performing job duties
- Must be able to work in hot, humid, wet, and cold conditions as warranted
- Must be able to work individually and/or in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Must be customer-focused; continually improving customer service
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have a valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record
