Job Responsibilities

This position report to the Department Head for Behavioral and Social Sciences and primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to teaching five (5) classes per semester including general psychology, human growth and development, and abnormal psychology. This position will also teach varying schedules at a variety of locations, including high schools; utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

This position requires a master's degree in psychology or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in psychology, or closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications

The candidate must be proficient with education technology platforms and able to teach at all locations. Preferred: experience teaching dual credit, experience in the human services field, and graduate-level course work in the human services field. Instructors will have the ability to provide systematically planned and delivered instruction, design and develop curriculum, evaluate student performance, and advise students. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
