Lecturer, Medieval History

The UCLA Department of History seeks applicants for a pool of qualified lecturers to teach lower and upper division undergraduate courses in various fields of history, should an opening arise. Screening of applicants is ongoing; the number of positions varies by quarter.

The department invites candidates to apply who are qualified to teach the following potential courses in Medieval history:

  • 187 B: Historiography Proseminar - Medieval
  • other topics as needed by the department

    The department is particularly interested in candidates who have experience working with students from a diverse background and a demonstrated commitment to improving access to higher education for disadvantaged students. The department welcomes candidates whose experience in teaching, research or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence.     Ph.D. must be in hand as of August 15, 2022. In 15 of the 16 medical specialty areas examined, UCLA Medical Center ranked in the top 20.
