Enrollment Systems AnalystPosition Summary

The Enrollment Systems Analyst directs and implements the design, development, and optimization of the Slate by Technolutions system used by Enrollment Management at Butler University. This role serves as a CRM expert and administrator for the Enrollment Management division and partners with Enrollment leadership to design solutions to support critical research, admission, and marketing functions and strategies at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Strong candidates will be creative, natural problem solvers, and display an excellent grasp of CRM administration, admission cycles, and complex enrollment and recruitment processes.

The Enrollment Systems Analyst will develop project plans, schedules, and budget requirements and work with campus partners and external vendors to integrate and support solutions for prospective student engagement. This role is responsible for analyzing, reporting, and ensuring data integrity across Enrollment Management systems.

As a member of the Enrollment Management Division, this role is a member of the Enrollment Operations team and reports to the Director of Enrollment Research and Analytics. Additionally, the collaborative position interfaces daily with members of the Offices of Admission, Financial Aid, Registration and Records, Marketing and Communications, Information Technology, and graduate programs staff across campus. This position also serves as a member of the campus-wide Program Operations team to support the launch of new academic programs. This role will also partner with Information Technology to ensure cross-platform synergy and data integrity between systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Implements design, development, implementation strategy, and optimization of Slate and other Enrollment Management software and systems.
  • Provide day-to-day administration and maintenance of two Slate instances, including but not limited to admission application development; managing user setup; customization of objects, fields, record types; building workflows; writing rules, populations, and queries; event management; and building reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate daily with Enrollment Operations, Admission, Financial Aid, and Enrollment Marketing staff. Display full understanding of admission-related processes, workflows, and application funnel.
  • Partner with the Enrollment Marketing team to develop and deploy Slate drip campaigns, auto-deployment communications, custom portals and forms, and other marketing efforts as needed to target audiences.
  • Analyze, report upon, and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Work closely with OPMs (Online Program Managers) in implementing new degrees and certificates.
  • Plans, develops, and executes project plans, ensuring technical feasibility and progress to competition.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to help launch new programs in Slate across our undergraduate, graduate, and non-degree pathways.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience; experience in Slate by Technolutions or other similar CRM software development required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or computer- related field, or 2- to-1 work experience
  • Experience in higher education
  • Strong business acumen and judgment, innate problem-solving skills, and an intense willingness to learn new business processes and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior admission/enrollment management experience
  • Experience with Peoplesoft
  • Experience with the Common App
  • Experience working with OPMs (Online Program Managers)
