The Louisiana Community and Technical College System invites nominations and applications for the position of Chancellor of Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College (NLTCC).

Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College’s main campus is located in Minden, Louisiana.  With its distinctive, red-bricked Main Street lined with shops, banks, and churches, old-time charm pervades downtown Minden. Minden is also a gateway to outdoor recreation galore at destinations like Dorcheat Bayou and Lake Bistineau, teeming with largemouth bass and the Caney Lakes Recreation Area with its numerous trails, campsites, and lakes. The Webster Parish Fair comes to Minden in October with rides, games, and a parade through downtown, while the Moess Art Center and City Farm combines art and agriculture and hosts annual events like the Spring Arts Festival.

NLTCC is a comprehensive community and technical college accredited by the Council of Occupational Education (COE).  This accreditation means that, nationwide, NLTCC credentials will be recognized as meeting or exceeding educational quality and student achievement.  Accreditation by the Council of Occupational Education is viewed as a nationally honored seal of excellence for occupational education institutions and denotes honesty and integrity.  The college has active plans to pursue initial accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) Commission on Colleges.  NLTCC has four campuses with the main campus in Minden and additional campuses in Camp Minden, Mansfield, and Shreveport.  Students can earn the associate of applied science degree, technical diploma, certificate of technical studies, and HighSet (high school equivalency).

Nominations and applications will be accepted until the position is filled; however, to be considered for the initial screening, candidates should apply no later than September 15, 2022.
