The Danielsen Institute (www.bu.edu/danielsen) is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Training (ADoT), who will work closely with the Institute’s Director of Training in overseeing the clinical training programs at the Danielsen Institute. The ADoT will also provide approximately 17 hours per week of billable clinical services, provide clinical supervision to Institute training fellows, and serve as a clinical seminar leader. Other responsibilities include assisting with orientation of new training fellows, developing and overseeing training hours and expectations, communicating with external partners such as schools of social work, organizing and facilitating training fellow selection processes, tracking training fellow seminar attendance, facilitating fellows’ evaluations, coordinating with the administrative team around monthly training reports and other aspects of training administration, tracking regulations and licensing requirements, assisting with training curriculum, and supporting the clinical supervisory team. The position is approximately 60% clinical service and 40% training and administration.

Required Skills

Education/Licensure: Masters in Social Work or Doctorate (Ph.D, Psy.D, Ed.D) in Psychology or; licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts as either L.I.C.S.W. or Health Service Provider Psychologist.

Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience as a clinician in a mental health setting.
