The Framingham Heart Study is seeking to hire a purchasing administrator to assist the financial manager at the FHS Center. This can be an exciting growth opportunity and will offer hands-on training from a veteran of the FHS team, who will prepare you for a role where you will be primarily responsible for all purchasing and payables activities including disbursements, purchase orders, shopping carts, p-card activity, ordering supplies and equipment, processing monthly lease payments, etc., and tracking of all non-salary expenses by maintaining the expense tracking spreadsheet in coordination with the FHS financial Manager. In addition, this position will be asked to assist in projects such as the annual Request for Proposals response for the core FHS contract, and to manage the COA process for non-authorized contract spending. You will also be introduced to contract management and will be responsible for ensuring adherence to the FHS core Contract's Small Business Subcontracting Plan.

Required Skills

Associate's degree 1-3 years professional experience, Bachelor's preferred must have excellent organizational skills, a willingness to learn and a proactive approach to your work.
