As a member of the Faculty Actions & Support team, reporting to the Director of Faculty Actions & Support, the primary responsibility of this role is to manage both daily and high-level administrative functions for multiple academic departments within the Questrom School of Business. Responsibilities include management of department-specific projects and communications, department-level coordination of faculty appointment and reappointment paperwork and course planning activities, coordination of faculty recruitment activities, faculty training and on-boarding, initial submission of faculty concur reports, providing support for the faculty annual report process and My CV system, and other responsibilities as necessary. The Administrator will work with members of the Questrom Finance and Administration team as needed to ensure adherence to School and University workflows, policies, procedures, and deadlines. This role will be the primary administrative contact for faculty in the departments they support.

Required Skills

B.A/B.S. degree or equivalent work experience required and one to three years of work experience, ideally in an administrative role in higher education. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. Previous experience with SAP (BUWorks) and Concur preferred.
